Invalid payload received from xml-rpc server?
« on: December 11, 2002, 02:05:18 AM »
Hi,

Have recently installed MT on my Netfirms account (free hosting - uh oh?).

Tried to load the blog into BlogMan, but got the above error. Same error for loading a user.

Any ideas? I'm beginning to think that Netfirms webserver messes things up by putting adverts into everything... but am not 100% sure.  :?

Thanks.

I haven't seen that error yet and do think it has something to do with sending non XML stuff back - probably the adverts are the cluprit. I guess the only way to really test that would be to go get a Netifrms account for myself and test :p
BTW, you shouldn't try to load users if you haven't loaded the blog yet - just a note :p

Thanks Fahim,

I've conceded that it's probably the ads messing things up.

Well, there's no such thing as a free lunch, so I think it's time to set up on a proper paid host.

Keep up the good work.
